Welder Fabricator

Robertson Recruitment are working with a well-established sheet metal company seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join the growing team. This is a hands-on role for a skilled individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can work confidently from drawings to finished product. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a team leader or supervisor.

Working hours:

Late shift. 14:00pm - 22:00pm We are also looking for someone for the AM shift too but that is 6-2pm. Responsibilities Welding and fabrication of sheet metal components and assemblies Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications MIG/TIG welding (depending on experience and job requirements) Cutting, forming, and assembling sheet metal parts Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping Working independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines Requirements Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, ideally within a sheet metal environment Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Competent in MIG welding Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium preferred Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Benefits Competitive rate of pay based on experience Development opportunities Overtime opportunities (where available) Opportunities for skill development and progression
