Due to increased orders, this aerospace manufacturing business in Leicester is looking for three engineers across three shifts. A weekday role that involves nights (3 shift rotation), weekend days and weekend nights to enhance the current team. You will be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance of a wide variety of CNC machines, tooling and robot cells.

• Respond to machine breakdowns and facility issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Develop and support preventative maintenance schedules.
• Work on continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and facility improvement projects.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a shift‑based team.
• Liaise with contractors while ensuring compliance with site policies.

• Apprentice trained or a minimum of a level 3 Engineering Qualification.
• Strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machinery (Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc).
• Knowledge of drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Desirable: 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Desirable:
  Mechanical skills (e.g., spindle rebuilds, bearing replacements).

• 3 shift rotation Monday to Friday.

  • 1345‑2145 Late
  • 2145‑0545 Night (Friday shorter day 0545‑1045 Early, 1045‑1545 Late, 1545‑2145 Night).
• Weekend day shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 0545‑1745.
• Weekend night shift 6pm – 6am Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

• Basic salary £38,000‑£42,000 with shift premium.
• Weekday shift premium 21%: £45,980‑£50,820.
• Weekend days shift premium 23%: £46,740‑£51,660.
• Weekend nights shift premium 40%: £53,200‑£58,800.
