Overview
Mechanical Fitter / Engineer needed in a fast-paced engineering environment, engineering excellence on shift ensures production targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Fitting and turning on lathes
- TIG welding, particularly stainless steel
- Mechanical fitting, assembly, and repair of components
- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance
- Fault finding and repair of mechanical equipment
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer
- Strong experience with fitting and turning lathes
- Skilled in TIG welding stainless steel
- Good mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
