CNC Turner; Late Shift

A well-established precision engineering company in Portsmouth is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their afternoon shift team. This is a hands-on role for someone confident programming, setting, and operating modern CNC lathes in a production and precision-driven environment.

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines
• Working on fixed head lathes, including twin spindle machines
• Operating INDEX C200 Triple Turret lathes
• Programming and editing at the machine using Fanuc controls
• Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner (programming, setting & operating)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc-controlled machines
• Experience with multi-turret / multi-spindle lathes (especially INDEX C200)
• Ability to work independently on the afternoon shift
• A quality-focused mindset with attention to detail
