Power & Infrastructure Resourcing are currently recruiting experienced Small Tools Plant Fitters for upcoming rail works across the South of England.

We are looking for skilled Small Tools Plant Fitters to support rail infrastructure works, ensuring all tools and small plant equipment are maintained and operational to a high standard.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong fault‑finding ability and experience working with rail small tools and plant equipment.

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of small plant and tools
• Fault‑finding and fixing equipment on site
• Ensuring tools are safe, compliant and ready for operational use
• Supporting rail teams with tool replacements and urgent repairs
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs and servicing

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) – essential
• Proven experience as a Small Tools / Plant Fitter
• Ability to repair and maintain the following equipment:
  • Cobra TT breakers
  • Impact wrench pull cords
  • Triple wackers
  • Chamber clippers
  • Chainsaws (including chain replacement)
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Ability to work weekend shifts
