About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join the workshop team in Leicester.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled finisher who takes pride in achieving a flawless, consistent finish across bespoke furniture and joinery items. You will be responsible for preparing, spraying and finishing components to a high standard, ensuring quality, efficiency and attention to detail at every stage.
You must be confident working to production schedules while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for finishing, including sanding, filling and priming
Mix paints, lacquers and stains to required specifications
Apply finishes using spray equipment (e.g. conventional, HVLP, airless systems)
Achieve high-quality finishes across a range of materials including MDF, timber and veneered panels
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain spray booths and equipment in safe working condition
Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures
Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
About You
Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within a furniture, joinery or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of spray techniques and finishing processes
Experience with lacquers, stains, primers and topcoats
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good understanding of health and safety within a spray environment
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential with the right experienceApply
