Level 2 NDT Technician

Location: Leicester Forest East

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Leicester to recruit a skilled Quality Inspector / Level 2 NDT Technician. You’ll join a high-performing night shift team, supporting inspection and non-destructive testing activities across complex aerospace components.

The Successful NDT Technician - Package:

* £22.20 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

* Night shift: 18:00 – 06:00, Monday – Thursday (46.40 hours per week)

The Successful NDT Technician - Role Duties:

Inspection:

* Carry out 1st off Inspection (CMM / Manual), Receipt Inspection, and Calibration activities

* Run CMM programmes, analyse and record results, and make quality decisions

* Maintain the integrity and correct storage of CMM programs

* Support the non-conformance process: raising rejects and ensuring containment is captured

* Liaise with Engineering to ensure smooth transition of New Product Introduction (NPI)

* Complete FAIR packs via CMM and Manual Inspection

NDT:

* Perform Inspection operations (Penetrant Testing – Level
2)

* Follow Standard Operating Procedures and industry specifications

* Ensure records, traceability, and compliance are maintained at all times

The Successful NDT Technician - Candidate

Summary:

* Minimum Level 2 NDT Certificate in Penetrant Inspection

* Strong background in aerospace/precision engineering environments

* Ability to work to production timelines in a busy manufacturing environment

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Team-player with a positive, proactive attitude
