Fabrication Supervisor

Robertson Recruitment are working with a growing and well-respected sheet metal fabrication business, delivering high-quality components and assemblies to customers across a range of industries. Known for their quality, reliability, and skilled workforce, they are looking to strengthen the production team with an experienced fabrication supervisor on evening shifts. As Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the fabrication department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with strong fabrication knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Working hours:

Mon-Weds: 2pm-Midnight Thurs: 2pm-11:30pm Fri: OFF (Unless OT)

Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the fabrication team on a daily basis Allocate workloads and manage production priorities to meet deadlines Ensure all fabrication work is completed to the required quality standards Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times Support and develop team members through training and mentoring Liaise with production, quality, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow Assist with resolving manufacturing issues and improving efficiency Were looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment Has supervisory or team leader experience within manufacturing/engineering Can confidently read and interpret engineering drawings Has strong organisational and communication skills Is hands-on, practical, and leads by example Can motivate and manage a team effectively Has a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency Benefits:
