Painters

Manpower UK is seeking skilled Painters for a temporary assignment in Leicester, working Monday to Friday from 18th August to 4th September 2026. Based in the city centre, this role involves preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking, then applying industrial-grade paints and finishes with precision. You will inspect completed work to uphold quality standards, follow health and safety protocols, and collaborate with colleagues to finish projects on schedule.

The position pays up to £17.00 per hour and suits those who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes on diverse tasks. A keen eye for detail and commitment to the full period are essential.

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Applying industrial‑grade paints, coatings, and finishes with precision
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard

• Proven experience in industrial painting, with a strong focus on quality and safety
• Ability to work with various paints, coatings, and application techniques
• Good understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Relevant certifications or licences for industrial painting are preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in industrial environments
• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo a basic DBS check prior to starting

Hours of work are 09:00-17:30 daily. Pay rate: £17.00 per hour.
