If you're an ambitious Chemist in a technical, quality or NPD role within chemical manufacturing, this role offers a clear path to take on the Technical Director responsibilities before retirement. We are flexible on background beyond chemical manufacturing. You will spend time with the Technical Director in Peterborough during the handover.

• Salary: to £60,000, until taking on the Technical Director role.

Technical Manager

Our Technical Director is retiring after a successful career with us. Before they do, you will ease into and develop into their role with mentorship and support. Your technical work history should come from chemical manufacturing, with experience in NPD, quality management, senior chemist roles, laboratory management, QHSE, etc.

As our new Technical Manager, the handover timescale is flexible to fit your profile and experience, with an expected period of 12–18 months.

• Technical Manager
  - Chemical Manufacturing, COMAH, Quality background
• You are a Chemist
• Degree educated in Chemistry
• Experience in Chemical Manufacturing
• Experience in a technical role with exposure to formulation development / NPD, and/or Quality Control, regulatory, compliance, QHSE
• COMAH experience desirable; training available as we are already Upper Tier COMAH with much to learn

We are a well-established own-label and subcontract chemical manufacturer of mostly liquids. Primary customers include agricultural, industrial, biosecurity, home & garden, and veterinary sectors.
