We are a local, well‑established business specialising in the manufacture of pre‑production and points‑of‑sale (POS) tools for the medical, automotive and defence sectors. Established in the 1980s, we have recently undergone a buy‑out and are expanding our operations.

Role Overview:

• Design and fabricate custom precision parts, moulds and devices
• Operate milling, turning and other machining equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot tooling and machinery
• Inspect work precisely to specification
• Collaborate with other toolmakers to improve processes

Work schedule:

Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm. Overtime and weekend work is optional.

Requirements:

• Experience as a toolmaker or in a similar role
• Preferred local to Leicester
• Knowledge of CNC machining and precision engineering is desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
