Location: Leicester Forest East

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Embroidery Operative to join a well-established and successful garment supplier with over 20 years of industry experience.

Supplying garments to both the retail and trade sectors, the company works with leading high street retailers and major supermarket brands. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their embroidery team with a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

The Role

As an Embroidery Operative, you will be responsible for producing high-quality embroidered garments using multi-head embroidery machines. You will play a key role in ensuring all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

  • Operate multi-head embroidery machines efficiently and accurately.
  • Check embroidery design specifications and prepare the correct garments, threads, and machine settings.
  • Frame garments correctly and apply the appropriate backing materials.
  • Monitor embroidery production to ensure consistent quality.
  • Trim threads, remove backing materials, and complete the finishing and packing of embroidered garments.
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Work effectively as part of the production team to meet daily targets and customer deadlines.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience operating multi-head embroidery machines is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Reliable, organised, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
