We are looking for experienced quality inspector, who has experience using micrometers, verniers, operating CMM machines etc. working to tight tolerances.

This is working with a well-established down to earth aerospace company that has recently completed a huge recruitment process due to expansion and is now down to the last couple of spaces.

What you will be doing

Using micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM machines etc. to ensure products match drawings within accepted tolerances (micron tolerances).
Ensuring relevant paperwork is completed
Offering ways to improve processes where possible

Weekly shift rotation

Days Monday to Thursday 05 45 Friday 05 45
Afternoon Monday to Thursday 13 45 Friday 10 45
Nights Monday to Thursday 21 45 Friday 15 45

Your initial on boarding is on fixed day shift (average 2 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While on boarding you will be on £14.58 then once on rotating pattern moved up to £17.64.

To be considered

Able to read engineering drawings
Inspection experience working to micron tolerances
Able to commit to the rotating shift pattern
