Acrylic fabricator​/general operative

Engineering @ 365 are working with an established production company seeking an experienced Acrylic Fabricator / General Operative to join their production team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Overview:

This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, focused on point-of-sale (POS) fabrication and acrylic prototyping. You will be fully conversant with acrylic fabrication techniques and comfortable working with a wide range of tools and equipment to produce high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fabrication and prototyping of acrylic point-of-sale (POS) products.

* Safe and competent use of saws and routers.

* Use of manual and powered hand tools.

* Accurate use of measuring equipment.

* Operation of heat benders for acrylic shaping.

* Use of gluing syringes for precision bonding.

* Use of diamond and flame polishers for finishing.

* Use of UV bonding equipment.

Experience and Characteristics

Required:

* Able to follow instructions and work well in a team or with minimal supervision.

* Physically fit with good eyesight and strong manual dexterity.

* A positive attitude to work.

* Previous experience in point-of-sale (POS) fabrication and production work.

* Helpful, enthusiastic, reliable, polite and adaptable.

* Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
