Press Brake Operator

Robertson Recruitment are working with a growing and well-established engineering business specialising in high-quality sheet metal fabrication and precision components. Due to continued growth and a busy order book, they are looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows their way around a press brake and wants long-term stability, plenty of overtime and the chance to develop within a supportive engineering environment.

AM Shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday

PM Shift: 2pm - 12am Monday to Wednesday, 2pm - 11:30pm Thursdays, Fridays off (unless overtime).  What you'll be doing:
Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery Reading and working confidently from engineering drawings Selecting the correct tooling and materials Producing components accurately and to tight tolerances Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks Working efficiently to achieve production targets

What we're looking for:

Previous experience setting and/or operating press brakes Confidence reading engineering drawings A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication Strong attention to detail A quality-focused approach to your work A reliable and hardworking attitude The ability to work independently as well as within a team
