Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for your next opportunity?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a market leading sheet metal company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, manufacturing high-quality sheet metal fabrications to engineering drawings while maintaining excellent quality and production standards.

Monday - Wednesday: 2:00pm - 12:00am Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:30pm Friday:
Off
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Ability to produce high-quality welds to specification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Formal welding or fabrication qualifications
- Previous experience within a sheet metal manufacturing environment
- Experience using fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Ability to carry out basic quality inspections
- Forklift truck licence
- Experience working to production targets and deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
- Carrying out MIG welding on a range of sheet metal fabrications
- Fabricating components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Ensuring all finished products meet company quality standards
- Operating welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting completed work for accuracy and weld quality
- Supporting production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Reporting any quality or production issues to the Supervisor
- Working collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet deadlines
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times
- Carry out routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment
- Handle materials safely and responsibly
- Demonstrate flexibility to support production requirements when needed
- Maintain excellent attendance and timekeeping
