Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Technician / Production Engineer to support the production and development of advanced superconducting materials within a highly innovative engineering environment.

Working as part of a specialist team, you will be involved in the manufacture of high-precision superconducting tape products, supporting both production activities and ongoing research and development projects during an important growth phase of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading, threading and setting up production machinery.
• Carrying out machine preparation activities before and after production runs.
• Performing quality assurance checks, machine loading and process set-up activities.
• Running and monitoring production lines during an early-stage manufacturing development programme.
• Handling delicate and high-value superconducting materials with precision and care.
• Supporting tape insertion and processing operations involving long-length products of up to 150 metres.
