Are you a Production Scheduler or a Production Planner, from a packaging or manufacturing background, looking to take ownership of the planning function whilst developing into a future Production Manager?

The company on offer has built a strong reputation within the packaging sector, providing tailored manufacturing solutions to a varied customer base.

With continued growth driving the need for increased production capacity, the business is preparing for expansion into a larger facility, alongside investment in new machinery and manufacturing capabilities.

You will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently by coordinating manufacturing schedules, material availability and workflow across multiple departments.

Working closely with production, sales and purchasing teams, you will ensure customer requirements are met, whilst maximising productivity and maintaining excellent service levels.

The suitable candidate will have a background as a Production Scheduler, with experience using planning software and CRMs. Training can be provided on Opera and SPOCS CRM.

The Role

• Organise and manage the day-to-day production schedule, keeping work on track to meet customer deadlines
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure jobs are prioritised effectively and resources are available
• Monitor stock levels and arrange materials and packaging components as required
• Keep production and customer information accurately updated across internal systems
• Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

The Person

• Background as a Production Planner or Scheduler
• Experience using planning and CRM systems
