Machine Operative

A successful and well-established printing company based in the LE3 Braunstone area of Leicester is looking for a Trainee Machine Operative to join their busy production team.

As a market leader in their industry, the company is experiencing a strong demand and is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with previous machine operating experience to join their team.

Shift Pattern:

4 shift continental pattern consists of 3 x 12hr shifts rotating between days and nights. 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00

Pay rate:

· Initial training:
For the first couple of days, you would work as a Mail Sorter Operative while you become familiar with the working environment. You will be paid the National Minimum Wage rate for these initial shifts.

· Trainee Machine Operative:
Once you begin your machine operative training, your rate will increase to £13.52 per hour.

· Machine Operative:
Once you have successfully completed your training and progress to the Machine Operative role, your pay will increase to £14.44 per hour.

Your main duties within this Trainee Machine Operative role will include:

· Operating and monitoring a production printing machine

· Ensuring the machine is running efficiently and achieving required production rates

· Working closely with other departments to ensure customer orders are completed on time

· Carrying out quality checks and following company quality and health and safety procedures

· Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment
