Control Panel Wirer

Overview

We are currently looking for experienced Panel Wirers to work for one of our clients on a temp‑to‑perm basis. The company is a well‑respected world leader in the manufacture of specialist electrical equipment for a variety of applications worldwide, based in its workshops in Burton on Trent.

• Work on the build of new equipment and control panels.
• Read and work from drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly, including control panels, sub‑assemblies, frames and smaller component installation.
• Use a wide range of hand tools such as crimps.

• Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or similar role.
• Proven track record in wiring panels for machine tools (advantageous).
• Good understanding of schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of hand tools; experience with crimps is essential.
• Relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
