Thread Roll Setter Operator -PM Shift

Every fastener that leaves the shop floor depends on a thread that fits and performs as it should. As a Thread Roll Setter Operator, you will set up and run the thread rolling machines that produce these components, making sure each one meets strict tolerances before it moves on.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands threads and how they are rolled. You will set up and run both hot and cold thread rolling machines, and you will be responsible for the quality of the components you produce.

• Set up thread rolling machinery ready for production
• Set hot and cold thread rolling machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
• Carry out tooling changeovers between jobs
• Operate production equipment
• Inspect finished components to confirm they meet the correct specifications and quality standards

• Knowledge of threads and how they are applied and rolled
• Experience setting up and running thread rolling machines, including hot and cold machines
• The ability to work to strict tolerances
• Attention to detail when inspecting components against specifications

You will own the full process, from setting up the machine to checking the finished part. Your skill and judgement directly affect the quality of the fasteners produced, and your work will be visible in the results.
