Keep industry moving

When a production line stops, every minute matters. Neutronic Technologies helps some of the UK's largest manufacturing companies get back up and running by repairing and maintaining the automation and electronic equipment their operations depend on.

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our electronics repair workshop. You'll guide a skilled team, shape day-to-day operations and help develop the test facilities that expand what we can repair. It's a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and helping others do their best work.

What you'll do
  • Lead the workshop:
Coordinate daily activity, allocate work and balance priorities to deliver quality repairs on time.
  • Develop the team:
Coach and mentor engineers, support their technical growth and foster a positive, collaborative workshop.
  • Improve our capabilities:
Develop and enhance test equipment, rigs and workshop facilities so the team can tackle a wider range of repairs.
  • Maintain high standards:
Oversee component-level diagnostics, soldering and repairs, ensuring equipment meets quality requirements before it returns to service.
  • Promote safety:
Maintain a safe workshop and ensure work complies with relevant safety standards.
What you'll bring
  • Experience leading a technical team and coordinating varied workshop activities.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electronic circuits and components, with component-level diagnostic skills.
  • Good knowledge of industrial automation systems, including hands-on experience with VSDs, PLCs and HMIs.
  • An understanding of manufacturing production lines and how automation equipment operates in a live factory environment.
  • An interest in, or experience of, designing and building custom test facilities or rigs.
Why join Neutronic?

You'll lead a talented team working on complex technical challenges that help keep modern manufacturing running. You'll also have the opportunity to shape how we work and develop the workshop facilities that support our growing repair capabilities
