, you’ll be part of a forward‑thinking team providing high‑quality, confidential care across Cheshire West & Chester.
We have both full‑time (37.5 hours) and part‑time (25.5 hours) roles available.
Package Description- £39,959 - £48,117 (Band 6 AfC Salary) with NHS Pension and full Agenda for Change terms and conditions

As a Band 6 Sexual Health Nurse, you will:
- Deliver a comprehensive contraception and sexual health service as part of a Level 3 integrated service.
- Manage your own clinics, ensuring safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
- Provide STI testing, diagnosis and treatment, including HIV care support.
- Deliver and manage contraceptive methods, including implants and IUDs (training provided).
- Support patients in making informed choices and manage complex care pathways.
- Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations.
- Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and continuous improvement.
You’ll play a key role in delivering a service that is accessible, non‑judgemental and inclusive for all, regardless of age, gender or background.
About you – Qualifications and experience- Registered with the NMC and educated to degree level in a relevant field.
- Experience in sexual health, contraception or related services.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
- Committed to delivering evidence‑based, high‑quality care.
- Brings initiative, flexibility and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Desirable (but not essential):
Competencies in implants, IUDs or sexual health advising.
Band 5 colleagues may be considered for a development post to Band 6 upon completion of agreed training and competencies.
