Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner​/RGN​/ODP

Senior scrub role in the theatre team at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital, a private hospital run by the UK's largest healthcare charity. The post covers scrubbing for surgery and supervising and developing junior colleagues. Work spans a varied surgical caseload across several specialties, with weekend hours and on-call duty within a 37.5-hour week. Registration with the NMC or HPC is required, along with experience across named surgical specialties.

• Scrub for surgical procedures as a scrub nurse or theatre practitioner (ODP)
• Work across a varied surgical caseload
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the theatre team
• Deliver care that is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate to each patient
• Use communication skills with patients and the team
• Use modern theatre technology, equipment and facilities

• Relevant qualifications for the role

• Registration with the appropriate governing body, NMC or HPC

• Post-registration experience
• Experience in General, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynae, ENT, Plastics, Dental and vascular surgery

• Passion for high standards
