Veterinary Surgeon

Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Welcome bonus and relocation package available!

Permanent. Full-time

40 hours over 4-5 days with a 1:4 Saturday rota (8.30am-2pm) and 1:15 Sunday (8am-7pm paid extra). No nights – we have a dedicated night team.

• Work alongside a team of 29 vets with specialist certificates in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft‑tissue surgery and emergency critical care.
• State‑of‑the‑art facilities: in‑house CT scanner, dental suites with X‑ray, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, and advanced ophthalmology equipment.

This role is ideally suited to someone eager to work across all GP areas, balancing consulting and operating in equal measure as part of the day team. It also offers referral, out‑of‑hours and advanced services, while championing primary care and 1st‑opinion caseloads.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a small animal practice.
• A confident small animal vet, comfortable with routine primary care duties and basic emergency procedures.
• An interest in developing advanced skills – CPD and professional growth are actively encouraged.
