Quality Assurance Manager; QA Manager

Position: Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager)
Location: Leicestershire

We’re recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site within the Food to Go sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong QA or Technical background who enjoys being close to the operation, leading a team and making sure food safety, quality and customer standards are consistently delivered.

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the QA team and quality systems across site, working closely with Operations and Technical to resolve issues, drive standards and support continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing :

Leading, coaching and developing the site QA team
Acting as a key contact for food safety and quality matters
Ensuring quality systems meet customer, legal and company requirements
Working closely with Production to maintain high quality and hygiene standards
Managing non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are closed out
Investigating quality, microbiological and process issues
Supporting audits, inspections and customer visits
Developing and maintaining HACCP and food safety systems

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have previous experience in a QA or Technical role within food manufacturing, along with a good understanding of food safety, quality systems and audits.

You’ll also be confident leading people and working closely with production teams. A calm, practical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate standards effectively across different levels of the business will be important.

Experience with in chilled, ready-to-eat or Food to Go manufacturing would be particularly relevant.
