Metallurgical Technician

You will have a keen eye for detail, with a passion for producing accurate, high-quality work. You'll be confident and comfortable working with laboratory equipment to carry out microscopic evaluation, corrosion testing and chemical analysis. As a collaborative team player, you'll communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, thrive in a quality-driven environment, and be committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellent results.

• Good IT literacy skills
• Degree or qualification in sciences or another technical discipline.
• Clear and effective communication skills

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established laboratory where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality metallurgical testing and analysis services. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll be involved in the preparation, testing and evaluation of metal samples for a diverse range of industries, helping clients make informed engineering and manufacturing decisions. • Metallurgical preparation of metal samples in line with specifications, including sectioning, grinding, polishing and etching of samples.

• Microscopic Evaluation of samples to specifications.

• Performance of corrosion tests.

• Chemical analysis of metal samples.

• Report analysis findings in an accurate and concise manner.
