Senior Property Management Surveyor
East Midlands (with travel across the wider Midlands)
£45,000 – £50,000 + car allowance Senior / Associate, with a clear route of progression
Our client is an award-winning, independent commercial property consultancy with an exceptional track record across the Midlands. The business has grown from regional roots into a genuinely multi-office consultancy, with a presence across both the East and West Midlands.
Their reputation has been built on long-term client relationships, deep local market knowledge and consistency of advice. That shows in an established stream of repeat and referred instructions from a client base spanning private individuals and landlords through to major national occupiers and PLCs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded surveyor to join a growing and entrepreneurial property management team. With a senior colleague retiring, our client is looking to bring in someone who can make an immediate contribution while also helping shape the long-term direction of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio across the East Midlands and wider Midlands region, with some national work
- Service charge management, budgeting and reconciliation
- Rent collection, arrears management and tenant liaison
- Lease management including break clauses, renewals and regearing
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad client base, ranging from major national occupiers to private landlords
- Proven background in commercial property management
- Strong knowledge of service charge, rent collection and lease management processes
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio including retail, office and industrial assets
- Comfortable dealing with clients across the full spectrum, institutional and private
- Commercially astute, with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
- MRICS qualified (desirable)
- £45,000 – £50,000 basic, dependent on experience
- Car allowance
