KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Take customer orders and answer any questions about the menu.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Prepare food and beverages in line with food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Food and beverage preparation to be high quality to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks to specified recipe standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including tables, chairs, and dining area.
- Process customer payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the cafe, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
- Upsell menu items and make recommendations to customers.
