Every item that reaches our customers starts its journey long before it reaches the shop floor — and you’ll be right at the heart of making sure that journey is seamless. As an RFID Tagging Colleague, you’ll help set the foundation for great customer experiences by ensuring every product is accurately tagged and ready to shine.
You’ll bring energy, care, and attention to detail to every shift. From the moment stock arrives, you’ll unpack, sort, and prepare it with pride, applying RFID tags that help us keep track of products in real time. It’s hands‑on, purposeful work that makes a real difference — helping us keep shelves full, stock accurate, and customers happy.
Working closely with our sales floor, stockroom, and delivery teams, you’ll play a vital role in keeping everything moving. You’ll make sure products are tagged correctly, follow company guidelines, and support smooth delivery to the shop floor, so colleagues can find what they need quickly and customers can enjoy an effortless shopping experience.
Tagging party shifts are an important part of the role too — a chance to come together as a team, validate that stock is fully tagged, and help each department get ready for our new RFID routines. It’s collaborative, it’s rewarding, and it helps ensure our stores are always at their best.
What you’ll be doing- Carry out spot checks to make sure every tag is readable and matched to the right SKU, helping us keep stock accurate and ready for customers.
- Take a thoughtful, organised approach to tagging deliveries so everything flows smoothly and efficiently.
- Build your product knowledge and understand how items are best tagged and displayed, helping the whole team work faster and smarter.
- Flag any tagging issues, unreadable tags, or product discrepancies so we can put things right quickly.
- Communicate confidently with colleagues and customers, helping to create an efficient, supportive, and friendly working environment.
- Use RFID hardware and software with confidence, becoming a go‑to for all things tech in the tagging process.
- Share feedback on the equipment and tagging process so we can continue improving the way we work.
