An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP in the role of Assistant Management Accountant. This post is based in our Lochgilphead office with option of hybrid working.
Responsible TasksWorking closely with the Senior Management Accountant and Support Accountant, you will assist with the delivery of a professional management accounting service across a number of services provided at Lorn & Isles Hospital, Oban. You will provide support in all aspects of financial management including monthly reporting, costings and financial analysis.
Qualifications and AttributesThe ideal postholder will be qualified to HNC level or have equivalent relevant public sector work experience and have a desire to work in Financial Management within a complex organization and can demonstrate the following essential attributes:
- Good analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS365
- Team working ethos
- Good planning, organization and time management skills
- A full driving licence is essential; you may occasionally be required to travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
- This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker Visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
