Optical Assistant – Leicester
Full-Time – £26,500

We’re working alongside a well‑established independent optical practice in Leicester that’s looking to welcome an experienced Optical Assistant into their friendly, close‑knit team. This is a genuinely relaxed and supportive environment where you’re trusted to get on with your role, without unnecessary pressure—while still being part of a team that values hard work and accountability.

This is a hands‑on Optical Assistant position, giving you exposure to the full patient journey. You’ll need to be confident in dispensing across all levels and comfortable working in a busy yet supportive setting.

• Dispensing a wide range of frames and lenses
• Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire patient journey
• Supporting the clinical team and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations
• Building strong relationships with patients and contributing to a community‑focused environment

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience within optics
• Confident dispensing at all levels
• Reliable, hard‑working, and a strong team player
• Comfortable in a relaxed but accountable environment

• Salary: £26,000 + bonus
• Holiday: 28 days plus bank holidays
