As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the store while ensuring excellent customer service and strong sales performance.

Your duties will include:

• Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating store staff.
• Managing the daily operations of the retail store.
• Providing outstanding customer service and resolving customer enquiries professionally.
• Advising customers on mobile phones, accessories, gadgets, repairs, and current promotions.
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring effective inventory management.
• Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
• Managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
• Maintaining financial records and supporting payment processing.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and store security procedures.
• Coordinating with suppliers and approving payments for received goods.
• Assisting with product pricing, promotional offers, and discount campaigns.
• Creating attractive product displays to maximise customer engagement and sales.
• Supporting visual merchandising and in-store marketing initiatives.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional retail environment.

Applicants should have:

• Previous experience in retail, electronics, mobile phone sales, or customer service.
• Experience supervising or managing a retail team is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Good organisational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to resolve customer issues professionally.
• Basic knowledge of pricing, promotions, sales targets, and financial reporting.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Knowledge of mobile phones, accessories, gadgets, or technology products is an advantage.

GCSE or equivalent qualification is desirable.

At least one year of experience as a Sales Assistant or in a similar retail role is preferred.
