PURPOSE OF ROLE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Development Executive to join a Global Insurance Broker. This role offers real progression opportunities for a skilled sales professional with a track record in building client relationships and converting new business opportunities. You will be benefit from a high level of back office support in this role, including receiving well qualified leads from a major bank, telesales support, and technical broking assistance – leaving you free to concentrate on client visits and winning business.
Whilst previous commercial broking experience would be beneficial, it’s not a prerequisite. if you thrive on building relationships and developing business within a Professional Services environment then this role could be perfect for you.
SKILLS
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Possess the gravitas to deal with a range of high-level directors and business owners
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record of winning new business and working towards targets, ideally in a regulated, corporate industry
- Comfortable working towards sales targets
- Adept at building relationships in a client facing role
QUALIFICATIONS
- Cert CII qualification (preferred but not essential)
DAY TO DAY
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Attending site visits to discuss client’s insurance requirements
- Highlighting potential new business opportunities
- Assisting in creating marketing and sales campaigns
- Diary management
