As UK business continues to grow, theyre investing in ambitious sales professionals who can accelerate their expansion by winning new customers and developing their distribution network. The Opportunity This is a genuine 100% New Business Development position. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, creating demand and winning new customers across your territory. Your focus will include:
Prospecting and generating new business opportunities every week. Winning new distributor partnerships and developing new routes to market. Identifying opportunities with coffee roasters, independent cafés, hospitality groups and food service operators. Building a healthy pipeline through networking, referrals, exhibitions and proactive business development. Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and closing. Working closely with distributors to help drive new customer acquisition.
Becoming a recognised face within the UK coffee community. Success in this role is measured by new customers won, revenue generated and market growth. If you're a driven sales hunter who thrives on winning new business, opening new accounts and building a sales pipeline from scratch, we want to hear from you. We're looking for someone who loves the challenge of prospecting, identifying opportunities and converting them into long-term commercial partnerships within the professional coffee market.
You'll spend your time out in the field, meeting prospects, generating leads, building relationships and winning businessnot managing an existing customer portfolio. Who We're Looking For We're interested in ambitious sales professionals who genuinely enjoy hunting for new business. You'll ideally have: A proven track record in 100% new business sales. Experience selling within the coffee industry, commercial coffee equipment or wider hospitality and food service markets.
Experience working with distributor or dealer networks would be advantageous. A confident approach to cold calling, prospecting, networking and developing opportunities from scratch. Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and closing skills. The resilience, motivation and determination to consistently exceed sales targets. A passion for coffee and the specialty coffee industry. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
