Sales Executive

The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially focused Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

Reporting to the Events Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving meetings, conferences, weddings, christenings, private celebrations, Christmas parties, group accommodation and other special event business. You will manage enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation while proactively seeking new business opportunities, building client relationships and helping to maximise the hotel's revenue.

The Sales Executive is responsible for:

• Managing enquiries for meetings, conferences, weddings, christenings, private events, Christmas parties, group accommodation and other special occasions from enquiry to confirmation.
• Responding promptly to enquiries, preparing proposals, quotations and contracts to maximise conversion.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate repeat business.
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking, outbound sales activity and local business engagement.
• Conducting hotel show rounds and represent the hotel at showcases, promotional events and networking opportunities.
• Maximising revenue through upselling accommodation, food and beverage, meeting packages and additional hotel services.
