Business Development Manager – Nationwide
Location: Covering whole of UK – Ideal candidates will be from either the Midlands or Greater London area
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 Based on 70% Base 30% OTE

I am working with one of the world’s leading and most well

They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Home Improvement & Distribution Division and sell into some of the largest and most well-known distributors throughout the UK and Europe.
As a Business Development Manager you will
- Identify new opportunities, customers and market trends within the consumer sector and channels
- Drive new business across the UK within the home improvement sector.
- Create consistent growth by developing detailed business cases and commercial strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams across marketing, supply chain and sales.
- Forge new partnerships, alliances and licensing opportunities to create long term success.
- Conduct detailed market analysis and assessments to guide strategic decisions
- Support the pilot launches and testing of new products.
- Deliver business plans to senior leadership
- Drive innovation, brand and quality principles.
Skills & Expertise
- Demonstrable success in business development, strategic sales or commercial growth

- Retail, FMCG or Consumer Products experience
- Excellent track record of winning new business and opening new accounts
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable leading cross-functional projects and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of category management principles
- Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Degree qualified in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
