Location: Rochester Kent - ME1 2XX

Hours: 24 hours per week / Shift Times - 7-7 (Days Nights & Weekends)
Pay: 13.65 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team in Rochester
. This is a full-time role offering consistent hours in a secure and supportive working environment.

• Competitive hourly rate of 13.65

• Regular structured hours: 24 hours per week

Security Officers play a vital role in protecting people property and information
. They act as a visual deterrent prevent unauthorized access monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents and emergencies
. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7.

• Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches

• Manage access control and verify  staff visitors and contractors

• Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm effective manner

• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports

• Conduct regular internal and external security checks

• Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment

• Enforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulations

• Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure

• Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed

Key Requirements

• Must be a British citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

• Hold a valid SIA licence

• Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)

• 5-year checkable work history is required

• Flexible to work days nights and weekends
