Retail Security Officer

Pay rate: £13.23 per hour.

Applicant must be driving and have access to own car.

Various shifts (to be discussed at interview).

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training may be provided).

Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required.

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
