Security Engineer

We are recruiting a skilled and reliable Security Engineer to join our team. In this role you will specialise in the installation, servicing, and fault-finding of intruder alarm systems, along with work on intercoms, access control, CCTV, and fire alarms.

• Our work spans domestic (approx. 80%), and commercial / industrial projects, giving a mix of environments and variety.
• All installations and servicing will be carried out to current British / industry standards, following the same practices used by accredited security installers.
• You’ll be provided with a company van (work-use only) and all necessary power tools.

• Must be based in Leicestershire and comfortable working locally.
• Previous experience in intruder alarms is essential. Experience with CCTV, access control, intercoms or fire alarms is a strong advantage.
• Strong commitment to “service and quality” — tidy workmanship, attention to detail, good communication with clients.

• Up to £41,800 basic salary, plus overtime earnings.
• Call-out rota: 1 week on, then 7 weeks off. All calls are filtered — call-outs are very rare.
• Holidays: 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
• Company vehicle provided, plus all required tools and equipment.
• Opportunity to work on a variety of sites: domestic homes, commercial premises and light industrial — ensuring broad experience.

• To install, maintain and fault-find intruder alarm systems to professional standards.
• To also carry out work on intercoms, access control, CCTV and fire alarm systems as needed.
• To treat all clients' properties with respect, ensuring clean, professional installations and good customer service.
• To work reliably as part of a small but dedicated team, focusing on quality rather than volume.
