Air Conditioning Engineer required for our client, a specialist M+E services provider who have been established for 45 years, who operate throughout the UK. They required an Air Conditioning Engineer to work throughout the East Midlands area.
The Air Conditioning Engineer will be working across a range of commercial sites, including prisons, educational buildings and government sites. The AC engineer will be covering around the East Midlands area, typically Derby, Nottingham and Leicester with some travel across the Midlands as a whole occasionally required.

The Air Conditioning Engineer will be tasked with the service, maintenance and repairs of Air Conditioning units such as: VRV, VRF, Split and Multi Splits. It would be highly advantageous, if the engineer also has experience working on commercial refrigeration. The engineer would ideally live in the East Midlands, specifically Derby / Nottingham or Leicester.

You must hold your FGAS 2079, a full driving licence and you must have industry experience fault finding, maintaining and servicing Air Conditioning units.

• 5+ years' minimum experience in a similar position
• Experienced with maintenance, service & commissioning on Air Conditioning equipment
• Highly advantageous, to have experience working on commercial refrigeration
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of Derby, Nottingham or Leicester

• Basic Salary 38,000 to 43,000 depending on experience
• Working hours - 8:00am to 4:30pm, plus overtime available
• Travel paid after 30mins each way
• Overtime at enhanced rates (up to 1.82x basic rate)
• Company van and fuel card.
• Annual Bonus:
  Discretionary, based on business and individual performance after 12 months of service.
• Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Death in Service Insurance: 3x annual salary.
• Enhanced Sick Pay: 4 weeks full pay after 7 days of sickness (post-probation).
