We’re actively recruiting Quarry Fitters and Heavy Plant Mechanics to support ongoing work within the quarrying and aggregates industry. This is a long‑term contract opportunity suited to hands‑on engineers who enjoy fault‑finding, repairs, and site‑based work on heavy machinery.

• Monday to Friday working
• Stable, ongoing work in the quarrying sector
• Minimal paperwork – hands‑on engineering focus

As a Quarry Fitter / Heavy Plant Mechanic, your responsibilities include:

• Repairing, maintaining, and fitting heavy plant machinery
• Carrying out site‑based servicing and breakdown repairs
• Working on quarrying and aggregates equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Supporting production by minimising downtime on critical equipment

• Experience with heavy plant equipment such as diggers, dumpers, excavators, loading shovels, 360s, and tracked machinery
• Experience with quarrying equipment such as crushers, screeners, trommels, and loading shovels
• Fabrication and welding experience (advantageous, not essential)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• A practical, problem‑solving mindset with a strong work ethic
