HGV Technician Leicester Depot Pay Rate: £19.95 per hour OTE £51,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (some Saturdays when required) Shift Pattern: 06:0015:00 and 13:0022:00 (£1,500 Joining Bonus!) Overtime & Optional Call-Out Available

About the Role:

Were looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Leicester. Youll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet from light commercial vans to 44t articulated vehicles and specialist waste management equipment. This role is ideal for a proactive technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair vehicles and waste-handling equipment in line with health & safety and DVSA requirements. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections. Support the fleets operator licence commitments through accurate service records. Work efficiently to minimise downtime and keep the fleet on the road. Requirements:
Level 3 HGV / PSV Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, or NVQ qualification (essential). Full car/van driving licence (essential). HGV licence (desirable). IRTEC qualification (desirable). Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Mechanic, or LGV Technician preferred. Semi-skilled technicians are welcome to apply upskilling and training available! Whats on
