Join our vibrant CASP Front Door Team, the gateway for safeguarding referrals within Leicester’s Children’s Social Care department. Based at Hybrid / Halford House in Leicester, LE1 1HL
, this full-time role offers a unique blend of professional challenges and rewarding experiences. Utilise your expertise without the responsibility of managing a caseload, while working within a supportive team of 20 social workers. Benefit from a hybrid rota that includes daytime, late, night, and weekend shifts, providing varied yet structured working patterns.

What you will do:

  • Screen safeguarding referrals efficiently to ensure timely and effective responses.
  • Make threshold decisions within short timescales to safeguard children and families.
  • Provide expert safeguarding advice to parents, members of the public, and professionals to promote community safety.
  • Complete information requests from partner agencies to support coordinated and effective safeguarding responses.
  • Participate in the Out of Hours team, responding to urgent safeguarding concerns.
