This role requires someone who can think strategically about embedded system design while remaining hands-on with implementation, integration and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect software for complex embedded systems comprising multiple hardware components.
Define software architecture and interfaces between hardware and software modules.
Evaluate different software and hardware interface options, providing clear technical reasoning and design justification.
Develop integration strategies to ensure software components function together as a complete embedded product.
Design comprehensive test strategies and test plans covering individual software components and full system integration.
Work closely with hardware and software engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture reviews and best engineering practices.
