What Youll Take On:

The successful applicant will work on the development and support of our gift card systems whilst helping maintain and support our other mainframe applications. The role involves all aspects of the development lifecycle and requires flexible and innovative individuals with a positive attitude.

You will provide analysis and programming skills in core languages review and support the gathering of user requirements and produce sustainable and efficient solutions following Agile methodologies. You will design code maintain and support business critical systems which are used 24/7 365 days a year. You will develop in both a batch and online environment adhering to relevant standards and working closely with our user community to provide both technical and non-technical advice.

Youll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. What Youll Bring:

You will have proven experience working in a Mainframe environment with solid commercial experiences in the following:

• COBOL/CICS COBOL
• ADABAS
• NATURAL
• DB2 and SQL
• JCL

Desirable:

• zOS connect
• Websphere MQ
• SOAP/REST APIs
• XML
• JSON
• .NET
• Microsoft Azure Dev Ops / TFS
• Endevor (Software Change Manager)
