Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C, including low-level drivers, in accordance with DO-178C standards.
- Participate in requirements capture and review activities.
- Design and implement software to the quality standards required for the project.
- Create design documentation in line with applicable quality standards.
- Participate in code, requirements, and document reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
- Proficient in embedded software development using C, especially for bare-metal applications and low-level drivers.
- Experience working in the aerospace domain, complying with DO-178B/C standards and within an AS9100 quality management system.
- Experience developing software to DAL-A standards, including associated test methodologies, tools, and qualification activities.
- Experience writing highly optimised code for resource-constrained hardware and meeting hard real-time requirements.
- Good understanding of embedded hardware, microcontrollers, peripherals, and hardware/software interfaces.
- Experience in using Oscilloscopes, DVMs etc.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starting approach.
- Experience using Parasoft, IBM DOORS, and Git Hub.
- Knowledge of MISRA C/C++ and static analysis techniques.
- Experience creating documentation for DO-178C qualification.
- Experience with communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and RS232.
- Experience with PBIT and CBIT development.
