Job Title – Class 2 Day Driver
Location – Hinckley, Leicestershire
Contract – Temp to Perm position
Shifts – Monday to Friday 05:00 – 07:00 starts
Driver Resource Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver on a Temp to Perm basis for our Client based in Hinckley. Our Client offers a comprehensive range of reliable and effective logistical services throughout the UK and EU. They are also shareholder members of both Pall-Ex and Fortec Distribution.

Job Duties:

* A mix of general haulage or Pall Ex work
 
* Tail lift deliveries
 
* Manual pump trucks but will provide an electric pump truck if it’s local Pall Ex work
 
* Mainly commercial deliveries but may on occasion have a residential delivery
 
* 10-to-12-hour shifts on average
 
* 4 – 5 deliveries with 2-3 collections per shift on average
PAYE with holiday accrued separately:
Monday to Friday - £13.75 per hour whilst with the Agency
£14.00 permanent hourly rate
Once permanent you will also be eligible for a £1 per hour compliance bonus
The successful candidate will be required to have:
 
* 2 years minimum HGV C experience
 
* Flexible attitude to work
 
* HGV/LGV C Licence
 
* CPC card
 
* Digi card
 
* High vis & Safety boots
 
* Clean & professional appearance
 
* No more than 6 points on your licence - No DR or IN conviction codes
 
* Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
