HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Leicester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver – Leicester to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and opportunities to grow and progress within a busy transport operation. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay • £15.29 per hour Benefits As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:

• Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Delivering goods to customer locations in line with planned routes
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time
• No heavy lifting involved Essential Skills As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category C Licence
• Minimum six months Class 2 driving experience
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial
• Multi-drop delivery experience advantageous Training Provided
