HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver – Leicester People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver – Leicester to join our well-established client based in Leicester . This role would suit candidates with experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, C1 Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver, or Commercial Driver. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay • £14.80 per hour Benefits As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will receive:

• Long-term opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Operating and driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Completing deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• No heavy lifting involved
• Adhering to road traffic laws and transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing relevant delivery and transport paperwork Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category C1 Licence
• A minimum of six months' experience driving Category C1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills
• A good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous delivery driving experience
• Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided
• Industry-related training provided
